Meet Ann

  • Age: 8
  • School Level: Grade 3
  • Favorite Hobby:
  • Aspires to Become:
  • Home Background Information: She lives with her parents and siblings in a small single-roomed house made of iron sheets. The room serves as both a sleeping area and a kitchen, leaving very little space for comfort or privacy. Her mother is a housewife who stays home to care for the children, while her father sells water in the neighborhood to provide for the family. However, the income he earns is very little and often inconsistent, making it hard to meet all their basic needs such as food, rent, and school fees.
  • Personality Traits: Open-minded and disciplined.
  • What getting a sponsor would mean: Getting a sponsor would greatly change their lives by easing the financial strain on the family. It would allow her to attend school consistently without worrying about being sent home for fees.
