Meet Ashley

  • Age: 13
  • School Level: Grade 6
  • Favorite Hobby:
  • Aspires to Become:
  • Home Background Information: She lives with her parents and siblings in a modest two-roomed house made of iron sheets. Her father earns a living by selling fish, while her mother works as a salonist to help support the family. Despite their efforts, the income they make is often not enough to cover the family’s basic needs and school expenses, leading to frequent fee arrears that keep some of her siblings at home. She dreams of working hard in school so she can one day improve her family’s living standards and give them a better life
  • Personality Traits: Focused and kind.
  • What getting a sponsor would mean: Getting a sponsor will greatly help her achieve her dreams by ensuring she stays in school without interruption. It will also ease the financial burden on her parents, allowing them to use their limited income to support her siblings and other needs.
