  • Home Background Information: The child lives with her mother and grandmother in a small, single-roomed house that offers very limited space. The grandmother is the main provider, taking on casual jobs to sustain the family, as the mother struggles with drug addiction. Despite these difficult circumstances, the grandmother does her best to ensure the child’s basic needs are met.

  • What getting a sponsor would mean: Getting a sponsor will bring hope and relief to the family, helping them regain a more positive outlook on life. It will also ease the grandmother’s stress, as she constantly worries about her grandchild’s education and future.
